OAD/Rabelais Books Special Offer

Thanks for your interest in Opinionated About Dining. We are hoping to publish a guide to dining in the United States based on a survey of diners. As an incentive to get you to participate in our 2010 dining survey, we have made special arrangements with Rabelais Books of Portland Maine to provide participants with the following gifts (click images to enlarge):

Here is how it works/Terms & Conditions:

1. Click on the link below and register for the survey. Enter the word “olive" (without the quotes) as the pre-approval code.

2. In the box titled How Did You Hear About Opinionated About, please enter Rabelais. We are not in possession of the Rabeiais email list, and the only way we will know that you qualify for this special offer is if you notify us.

3. Once you have access to the survey, rate as many restaurants as you can. The restaurants can be located in the U.S., Canada or Europe. Try and click on any link that might look like it covers a region that you have visited. And make sure you click on the regions labeled “New Entries" on both the North American and European maps as many of the restaurants in the survey are listed in those regions.

4. Rate the following number of restaurants in order to qualify for one one of the gifts below:
-----a) Rate 20 restaurants and get any of the books we are offering for 1/2 (half) price.
-----b) Rate 35 restaurants and get your choice of the Momofuku Cookbook or Stir:Mixing it Up in the Italian Tradition free of charge.
-----c) Rate 50 restaurants and get your choice of Ad Hoc at Home or the Fat Duck Cookbook free of charge
-----d) Rate 75 restaurants and get either Momofuku or Stir, plus either Ad Hoc at Home or the Fat Duck cookbook.
-----e) Rate 100 restaurants and choose any 3 (three) books for free
-----e) Rate 125 restaurants and get all 4 (four) books for free.

5. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to participate in this promotion

6. Only ratings entered on or after the date you received the email offer from Rabelais announcing this promotion count towards your total. If you were not on the original list of people who received the email from Rabelais, you are not eligible for this promotion.

7. Your ratings must be entered no later than 11:59 PM, Sunday November 8, 2009 in order to qualify for the free gifts.

8. In addition to rating a restaurant, you can enter a short review or comment about each restaurant you rate. Although commenting on the restaurants is optional, we would appreciate it if you contributed short comments in order to explain your rating.
