"When a Chef Acts Like a Schm*ck"
• Maybe your own reputation as a schmuck is getting around and someone wanted to give you some of your own back to you.
• Thanks Addison. But before I respond, can you tell me when you stopped beating your wife?
• If i was treated like that there is no way i would have stayed there, because your requests were not ott, in fact i probably would have asked for the bill by the third coarse, and paid up and left IMO
• It sounds like your request for options/compromise in response to the kitchen's flat "No" became their rationale to intentionally schmuck around with your meal. Hope Mrs P had another birthday meal that was memorable for the right reasons!
• I work in one of Plotnicki's favorite restaurants and by chance saw this article. I asked staff for their side of the story on this. The real conclusion is Steve Plotnicki is the Schm*ck who abuses honest service. That article's slander is absurd. I will gladly serve Mrs Plotnicki's next special soup with our finest James Beard schm*ck sauce. Savourer!
• I love comments like the last one. He doesn't even understand what the post is about since my complaint has to do with the chef, not the service staff. Why is it that there is always a high level of coreelation between the idiocy factor and people who have an ax to grind?
