Brasa means "rotisserie" in Spanish. But Alma’s Alex Roberts has co-opted the term for this 'cue shack specializing in "great interpretations of Southern fare." In addition to rotisserie chicken, Roberts offers such entrées as slow-roasted pork and fried catfish, along with "tasty sides" like cheese grits and cornbread. Meats are "tender and flavorful," and the use of locally raised, organic ingredients means "you can definitely taste the higher level of quality" over other barbecue restaurants. The result is "an absolutely delicious family-style restaurant" that is "as enjoyable for young children as it is for their parents."
