Fortunately, he had a secret weapon in the person of Christina Tosi, who is talented enough to create a dessert experience that's quirky enough to match Chang's cuisine. On any given evening, lines of people are waiting for unusual creations like crack pie or compost cookies, as well as four flavors of soft-serve ice cream. One reviewer characterized the offerings as "thoughtful, ingenious desserts, which you can't find anywhere else," while another (one obviously addicted to the place) said, "I always try to stop in if I'm anywhere nearby."
