A food stand wouldn't normally make a guide like ours. But this isn't your ordinary food stand. After giving up a career as a chef, Ryan Farr and wife Cesalee opened an artisanal butcher shop, though it's less a shop than a kitchen that churns out the hot dogs, bacon, chicharrones and all types of sausages that the Farrs sell at a stand at the Ferry Building Marketplace on Thursday and Saturday mornings. But what most people are lining up for is "one of the best hamburgers in the country," made from a "complex blend of cuts" and including "lots of dry-aged flavor." As one reviewer put it, Farr's "kicking butt and not asking for forgiveness."
