What with success at Blackbird, Avec and the Publican, it would seem that the last thing Paul Kahan needed to do was to open was a taco stand. But necessity isn’t always the mother of culinary invention, which means you can now enjoy tacos filled with braised pork shoulder, braised pork belly, crispy potatoes and rajas, beer battered tilapia and marinated chicken thighs, all with the Paul Kahan imprimatur on them. Add “delicious cocktails” to the mix and you end up with “awesome value and vibe at this somewhat hipster" hangout.” The late hours mean it’s filled with industry people after they get off of work.
