With a menu that includes offerings like a fried chicken box, catfish Sammy, pulled Carolina pork along with sides like mac ‘n cheese, burnt ends baked beans and smoked pork collards, one would think you were somewhere in the south rather than Brooklyn. But the hipsters who populate this place are willing to swear up and down that the fried chicken is as good as it gets. An the pies and cookies, which include flavors like banana cream, sour cherry, cracklin’ oatbran and snickerdoodle, nearly attract as much praise as the food.
