Considering how many locations this Belgian-owned chain operates, we're always surprised at the high standards the restaurants are able to maintain. In the morning, they serve up a variety of pastries (croissants, pains au chocolat), which you can supplement with a soft-boiled egg, granola or oatmeal and wash down with steamy bowls of café au lait. Lunch tends to run toward soups, salads and sandwiches, many served on the delicious baguettes they sell at the front of the store.
